Old fishing port Cuxhaven<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bilfinger Marine & Offshore Systems GmbH now F+Z Baugesellschaft was awarded a design & build contract to reconstruct and refurbish a 125m long quay wall in the northern section of the \u201eOld Fishing Port, Cuxhaven\u201c.<\/p>\n

The quay wall is a tube combined wall. The primary elements are tubes \u00d8 1420 x 14,2mm and for the intermediary piles the profile AZ 26-700 was chosen, which leads to a system width of 2,88m. Anchoring was realised by micropiles.
\nTo not overload the existing, but no longer stable quay wall all works had to be performed from waterside using floating units.<\/p>\n
