New Emergency Berth for R\u00f8nne Harbour, Bornholm.<\/em><\/strong><\/h1>
Depenbrock Scandinavia indgik d.12. marts kontrakt med R\u00f8nne Havn om opf\u00f8relse\u00a0 af et nyt n\u00f8dleje til f\u00e6rgerne i R\u00f8nne Havn.

Depenbrock Scandinavia entered into a contract on March 12 with R\u00f8nne Harbour for the construction of a new emergency berth for ferries in R\u00f8nne Harbour.<\/p>

The emergency berth, which will be delivered as a turnkey contract including all design and engineering activities, will be constructed in the corner between Quay 27 and Quay 28\/29 in the basin of the Western Harbour.<\/p>

The berth will be designed for \u201cheavy load\u201d traffic and will, upon completion, not only accommodate all current ferry types operated by Bornholmslinjen, but also a range of \u201clikely future\u201d ferries and Ro-Ro vessels.<\/p>

As part of the development and definition of the new emergency berth concept, Depenbrock Scandinavia has initially carried out geotechnical investigations, diving surveys, as well as extensive scanning and simulation activities.<\/p>

The scope of work includes quay adjustment with a new sheet pile structure including anchors and tie rods, construction of a new pile-founded fixed concrete ramp, installation of new fenders and bollards including foundations, as well as leveling of the basin seabed and installation of new scour protection.<\/p>

The emergency berth facility is scheduled for completion and commissioning on October 20, 2026.<\/p>

From Depenbrock Scandinavia\u2019s side, we are both grateful and pleased with the contract, which is expected to be executed using our own workforce as well as our in-house equipment and machinery fleet.<\/p>
