New subsidiary in Denmark brings the German construction company closer to the Scandinavian market.
Increasing demand for Depenbrock’s services within port and maritime projects in Scandinavia and in-depth knowledge of the Scandinavian market are now leading the German construction company to establish a subsidiary in Denmark. Depenbrock Scandinavia will work closely with Depenbrock Ingenieurwasserbau in Hamburg.
Depenbrock already has a solid portfolio in the Baltic Sea region and Scandinavia and is currently working with port structures and construction and civil engineering projects on- & offshore in Poland, Lithuania and Germany.
– We want to focus more on the Scandinavian market. That is why we are now establishing ourselves in Denmark to get closer to our Scandinavian customers and to be able to better meet their needs, says Erik Depenbrock, who will be responsible for the Danish department together with Christoph Wellendorf and Kim Bringsjord.

Customized technical solutions
As CEO of Depenbrock Scandinavia, Kim Bringsjord draws on a team of experienced specialists who deliver customized technical solutions to port operators, municipalities and government institutions.
The portfolio includes planning, project development and implementation of all port construction projects. The broad range of services the company offers includes quay facilities, ports, hydraulic port structures such as ramps as well as locks and steel bridges.
“Depenbrock Scandinavia draws on our equipment, machinery and highly specialized knowledge in the group in Germany. This enables our Danish subsidiary to offer customized solutions,” says Erik Depenbrock.
Depenbrock Scandinavia, which will be based in Central Denmark, expects to hire a number of new employees in 2021.
